Muskegon Film Festival 2009

Melinda, a young African-American woman, is brutally attacked and raped after leaving work one night. Years later, the events of that night still haunt Melinda who is now a single mother raising a little girl, Devon, the product of that night. Devon has just had her first tooth pulled at the dentist's office. Colt is assigned by his father to kidnap and execute an undercover cop who has infiltrated their organization. This is to be his younger brother Lenny's introduction to the family business. As the story of these characters' journeys through the city unfolds, it becomes apparent that they are connected in ways that they do not realize until the dramatic intersection of their stories in the climactic final scene.
